Brilliant Red Leaves, Even in Spring

Why Wildfire Black Gum Trees?

Delivering reddish-pink growth in spring in rich green in summer, the Wildfire Black Gum is known for its show of color. You might be used to the fiery autumnal colors that Black Gums are famous for, but the Wildfire Black Gum Tree doesn't just bring those colors to the fall. At the dawn of spring, when the world lights up in green, the Wildfire Black Gum stands out with deep ruby red leaves.

Expect brilliant colors in the fall, too. You'll get crimson, orange, and even purple leaves growing on this tree. The mesmerizing variety of colors can appear on one single tree, so this Black Gum will always surprise you with an assortment of the familiar, nostalgic colors of autumn.

And despite its size, its roots won't destroy your driveway. Unlike other large trees, you don't have to worry about the Wildfire Black Gum's roots taking over your entire property. This tree's roots grow deep into the ground and won't ruin your beautiful landscaping or crack your sidewalks and driveway. Plus, many Wildfire Black Gums live for more than 70 years. So far we do like

So far we do like this tree, this is our 2nd one since our first one died after the return date. The price was high for this replacement. Hopefully this one will make it.

Love them!

Ordered quite a few of these "Wildfire" Black Gum Trees from Fastgrowingtrees and they were delivered in about 3 days! All trees came healthy, green, and in good condition. We're lining our driveway with them, and can't wait to see how they mature over the years.

Black gum tree with dead tap

The Black Gun tree I got last year, the top died so I had to cut it off about 8 inches , Is there anything I need to do to make it grow taller now?

A Good Start

I ordered 3 of the wildgum trees; the 6-7 ft tall variety. The ordered arrived quickly and was well packaged. One of the boxes had slight damage on the outside but the plant inside was fine. I unboxed them immediately and stood them up right to allow them to get fresh sun and air. The trees looks healthy and have good leaves. later that evening i planted them. I used Kellogs Tree and Shrub soil. That is what the fastgrowingtrees expert via phone suggested. I was told to expect little to no growth the first year as the trees look to develop root system in their new home. years 1-2 expect to see moderate growth and then eventually the 'fast growth'. For reference, Fast growth is up to 3 feet a year. Moderate is up to 2 feet per year. and slow growth is up to 1 feet per year
