Southern Red Oaks
We have planted two Southern Red Oaks, purchased from Fast Growing Trees. The first, planted three years ago, is growing very well, now standing about 12 ft. tall with a nice shape. This tree, planted in the spring, took a year to get established, then began growing rapidly. The second tree was planted this fall. I am hopeful that the fall planting will allow it to establish itself quicker when the growing season begins. Jesse Snowden Marshall, Texas
