Why Yellow Twig Dogwood Shrubs?
From spring to winter, our Yellow Twig Dogwoods are groomed to provide colorful interest. The traditional deciduous shrub brightens up the winter months with vibrant yellow twigs, and as spring rolls around, yellow twigs transition to green and emerald green leaves accompanied by delicate white flowers. During the later summer months, the white flower clusters are joined by groups of white berries that attract birds and other wildlife. And just when you think this shrub can't be more impressive - it has another surprise in store each autumn.
As temperatures start to drop, so do the flowers, berries and green leaves. But there is nothing disappointing about it because the twigs transform to bright yellow. It's a wonderful gift to welcome the autumn season into your landscape. You'll be able to enjoy the vibrant crimson hues before the amazing shrub transitions back to its effervescent yellow throughout winter.
Plus, the Yellow Twig Dogwood thrives effortlessly. Thriving through the harsh winter months, the Yellow Twig welcomes most soil types and conditions - including snow! And you don't have to prune it unless you'd like to shape. Even better? It's drought-tolerant but also does well in flooded areas. Plant these in places that are "swampy" as they will help with erosion control.

Got screwed
My experience on the Yellow twig dogwood honestly it's not well by it because I bought one and it was a Bogo and get the other 1 free of the Yellow twig dogwood. Spoke to one of the reps she was gonna get back to me to see if her boss would give me the other 1 because if I put down 2 I was gonna be charged for 2 and they were $89 EachAnd I only did one because I was afraid I was gonna get charged up to for $89 per twig dogwood. Talk when is the reps she was gonna get back to me and save for boss would acknowledge this never hurt back from you guys so no more dumb with you
Lovely Yellow and Shipped in Great Condition
Too early to comment on growth, but they were in very good condition and Big! About 4 twigs or so per plant and about 3’. I know from red twig dogwoods I had once that these will no doubt take off and look great. They grow fast. Lovely yellow against conifer background. 😃 I did buy the warranty for whole order because I’m planting late fall which I’ve never done and will not know about growth until spring. Shipping was excellent and all plants were potted. Thank you!
Pretty bush!
I’m looking forward to the visual interest it will bring to my garden this winter. It was a little beat up upon arrival but we are experiencing a heat wave and it perked back up after soaking it.
Good so far healthy
Great. Came via fed express packed well
Beautiful!
My yellow twig dogwood is one of the most beautiful plants I've received from FGT. It was very full and healthy -- really impressive. It is growing steadily, and can't wait to see how it looks during the cold months with the yellow twigs on display, I have a red twig next to it, so the two together should be quite striking!
