Sweet, Heart-Shaped Fruit in Spring and Summer
Originating from the lineage of the renowned Mauritius Lychee, the Sweetheart Lychee is a remarkable subtropical evergreen that stands out with its ability to bear fruit at a very young age. This variation of Lychee has a high production of fruit with smaller seeds and juicier flesh than other varieties.
The self-pollinating Sweetheart Lychee boasts a vibrant red, heart-shaped fruit that can be harvested during late spring and summer. The outer shell cracks when fully ripe, signifying the perfect moment to indulge in the uniquely textured, grape-like flesh.
With a delightful rose scent, the Sweetheart Lychee's flavor is mild and slightly floral, complemented by subtle acidic notes reminiscent of a pear. This makes it an excellent choice for enhancing salads or enjoying fresh, straight from the tree.
Whether planted in a container for a more compact size or in the ground to achieve a larger stature, this tree adapts to various settings. Plus, it’s disease-resistant with low-maintenance care, making it suitable for any level of gardener. Grab your Sweetheart Lychee today!

Thriving
Received the lychee tree in great condition. Transferred it to a bigger pot. It is thriving nicely on my patio. Received tree in April 2024. Hoping it will last the summer.
