Huge, Creamy White Blooms + Purple Fall Foliage

Why Eastern Snowball Bushes?

Beautiful yet super easy-to-grow, the Eastern Snowball Bush is known for its full white blooms and rich green foliage that usher in spring. The Snowball's flowers emerge a striking lime-green in late spring and gradually turn to snowy-white in mid-May, retaining their green color for several weeks before turning to cream and white.

At full maturity, the Eastern Snowball's blooms are like brilliant white pom-poms, reaching up to 8 inches in width. Plus, you get these huge blooms for weeks at a time. The Eastern Snowball's clusters resemble the blooms of the Hydrangea but are even easier to grow.

In fact, this particular variety will provide a longer and more profuse season of blooming than any other plant in its family. But despite its staying power and unbelievable beauty, it couldn't be easier to grow. It can be trimmed to any size or shape, from shrubs and hedges to borders, or even be trained as a tree.

      Maybe NOT too deer-resistant.

The bush arrived very lush and healthy. I bought it because it came up in a search of "deer-resistant plants." I live in Downeast Maine and we have a lot of deer. The first night after it was planted, the deer used it as a salad. Not too lush or healthy now. To FastGrowingTrees's credit, though, they are sending me a replacement. I had originally bought a 3-gallon, and all they had in stock was 2-gallon, but the customer service person was great.

      Snowball Bush

Packaged well. Big beautiful plant. Does have berries on it I didn't expect that. When I called they said that was normal and they were very helpful. Can't wait to see the big beautiful blooms when it's big enough. Highly recommend this company.

      Eastern Snowball

I had bought 2 of them in 5/2019. One only survived, and this year, it is more beautiful than ever.

      Gorgeous!

I’m so happy I ordered my three shrubs before they sold out! I had two large ones and one medium. All packaged very well. I didn’t expect them to bloom this year with the stress and time to adapt. I saw one at my work in my City and it’s beautiful! I’ve seen the leaves remain green and healthy. I planted one in my all sun front yard to replace an Oak tree that dies a few years ago. The other two are in my shrub area with two red rhododendrons I also bought that has partial sun. I can’t wait for the blooming to begin next Spring! I use a soaker hose to water all of them and surround them with mulch.
