Resistant to low light and bounced back
I bought this tree in spring of 2024. I took inside due to the cold weather in Chicago. I left it next to a window inside the house. I didn't realize I was underwatering it until a few weeks ago when the leaves started to curl and thought it was going to die. I miscalculated the effect of the dry atmosphere due to the heater running constantly. I added a t5 light and started watering more often. Now its thriving with the little light from the window and t5 light. I started to see new blossoms and 2 tiny oranges already. I really didn't expect much success but it looks like I will finally be able to grow some oranges here in Chicago. Even my cats like to lay next to it.
This tree showed up healthy
This tree showed up healthy and has been doing great. I've had it for just over a year and it has a dozen oranges on it. Can't wait until they get ripe.
Looks good so far
Plant looks good with slight growth. Planted in pot and have moved it into green house for the winter
