    How should I like it?

How should I like it? It's a spindley 3' tree. Hoping it blossoms at some point. Same goes for the orange tree.

    Wonderful Key Lime Tree!!!

Excellent, vibrant, hardy tree. Fast Growing Trees sold me a fantastic Key Lime Tree. I bought my Key Lime approximately 6 years ago. Every year it produces all the key limes I need, and the key limes are wonderfully delicious. At first, I planted this tree in 30 gal soft pots and it did well. Eventually, I planted my Key Lime in the ground of composted clay soil with a little sand, and I feed it a lot of chick manure, kitchen scraps around the drip line. This tree is tuff, I mean really tuff. I've abused my tree at times but it did quite well; I'm really impressed. Recommendation: DO NOT PLANT THIS TREE IN ANY TYPE OF POTTING SOIL. Don't even mix potting soil with other stuff. It does not like it. It likes composted clay soil with composted manure, sand, earth worms, fungus, creepy crawlers, etc. These trees are heavy feeders. Keep the tree above 50 degrees with lots of sunlight in the cold winter months, and it will keep producing key lime fruit. If this tree gets ants and scales, the only way I killed them is with malathion pesticide. Nothing else works. I live in central Georgia NE of Macon. Zone 8a
