Your Junior Green Giant Thuja Tree needs lots of bright sunlight. Choose a spot in your yard that receives full sun during the day (6 to 8 hours of sunlight).
Watering
Water your tree every other day for the first couple of weeks, then twice a week until the root system is established. After the first year, regular rainfall should be sufficient for the tree to thrive.
Fertilizing
No fertilizer is necessary for the Junior Giant to thrive.

Why Junior Giant Thuja Trees?
Versatile, strong-rooted, and virtually carefree, the Junior Giant Thuja Tree is the perfect pick for privacy in tight spaces. If you love the Thuja Green Giant but have a small yard, the Junior Giant Thuja Tree is the solution you've been asking for!
The Junior delivers all the benefits of the Green Giant in a medium fit for limited space. It's still one of the finest evergreens for use as screening or a windbreak due to its upright, uniform shape. Plus, it seldom needs pruning, thrives in southern heat and humidity, and is a cold-hardy specimen that stands up to freezing temperatures down to -10 degrees.
Adding privacy screening is the best thing you can do to raise your home's value. And the Junior Giant is no exception, delivering Thuja benefits in a medium-sized form that tops out at 15 to 20 feet.
Need fast year-round privacy in addition to more sunlight in your yard? The Junior Giant was developed just for you. It's versatile - whether you've planted a screen to keep out neighbors while still keeping your landscape open or planted it in a pot on your patio. Container-planted Junior Giants are ideal for framing entryways or providing privacy for city terraces. The Junior Giant can thrive almost anywhere and stand up to any tough conditions with ease.
Your guests will be impressed by your Junior Giant's deep green hue and soft textured look that lasts year-round, regardless of drought, snow or heat.

Can’t get them to grow
5 out of 7 have died. The other 2 don’t look so good. Thank goodness the company is great about replacing them under their guarantee! Customer service is fantastic.
Great customer service customer!
Bought 20 of the junior Giants Thuja last year they are not as fast growing as claim to be. They are approximately 32 inches after year one I lost three for whatever reason after following all the directions I know that probably happens but just wanna let you know that customer service is great and they handled it and replaced the three I will keep buying from growing trees.
Junior Giant Thuja
I ordered 5 trees and they were delivered in great condition. They were planted two days after. Overall they are doing well. Am starting to see a few brown needles at the top which I will remove.
