Poplar thrives
Never experienced a tree delivery before and was pleased with packaging and the condition of the tree when received. Hot hot hot when we received it but my husband wanted to put it in the ground asap. We took out a London plane tree that always winter kills in the spot we planted and soaked the ground, placed the new tree, put a fence around it to keep the deer from getting too close and then covered it with a plywood shade cover. It’s been three weeks and we have had moisture in the Colorado mountains so it seems to be adapting nicely. Pleased with purchase.
Fabulous growth and service.
I have planted 4 of these in my backyard which had no trees because of new construction. Today, 2 years later, I have trees which are 20 ft tall with plenty of leaves and they look GREAT. I will probably order a few more with more construction behind me. Great service, great trees.
Get the 3-4 ft trees
I originally ordered four of the 5-6 ft trees, but they were shipped two to a box, with the root ball of each tree at each end. This made it nearly impossible for the shipping company to pick it up and keep flat as the instructions on the box stated. When picked up to move, both of the heavy root ball ends came together, causing the box to bend in half, which then broke all the trees down to about 2 ft high. I got full credit and re -ordered same. Same thing happened again, so now I have 8 broken trees in my yard and nothing to plant at my granddaughters new house. As I wrote my complaint and reason for a refund, suggesting to this company that they need to change their shipping boxes so they don't bend, it occurred to me to maybe order the shorter trees. So I did and they arrived perfectly fine! If the company could just find a way with interior bracing within each corner, then customers would receive live, viable trees instead of ones with broken trunks. I am overall satisfied!
