Sunlight
Although partial sun will suffice, to produce avocados in abundance, make sure you choose a planting area that gives your Hass Avocado Tree full sun (at least six hours of morning to early afternoon sunlight each day).
Watering
A thorough watering once weekly is generally all your avocado needs, however. While the roots prefer to stay on the dry side, avocado leaves love humidity. Indoor Avocados will do best if misted daily, especially when you are running heat during cooler months.
Fertilizing
Feed in the spring, summer, fall and winter, after the tree has been planted for one year, using a well-balanced fertilizer.

Love my Haas !
The packaging was excellent ! Tree arrived in good shape and on its third week it is starting to grow new leaves and looks like it’s made itself comfortable with its new home in my backyard. Looking forward to see the progress by end of year. Thank you!
Not Satisfied
Tree was shipped from California to Florida by truck and travelled for 7 days and arrived in poor condition! If I wanted to nurse a sick tree that’s what I would have bought and not paid almost $250 for that type of product and customer service response was basically wait and see which is not acceptable remedy.
Hass avocado
FGT has once again, not let us down. The Hass was fully the height described and in very good shape. She has been living indoors with us since arrival and is looking very good. It is tempting to leave her here. However she does have an outdoor space reserved and will (probably) being putting down roots this Spring.
