Much better experience than I expected!
I was quite dubious of ordering trees online (especially not bare-root, but in pots), but my brother-in-law had a good experience with fastgrowingtrees. com so I thought I would try it. I confess I did not have high expectations. My Fedex shipment was delayed one day outside Denver, and then an extra two days were spent "out for delivery" from what I was later told were broken down Fedex trucks. So 11 days total to arrive at my house. I was very surprised at how well packaged the trees were (18 Douglas Fir - Pseudotsuga menziesii 'Blue', 12-24"). None of them were dried out, all of them looked healthy and planted with no issues. Overall I was pretty impressed, I would order from them again.
