Good shape overall and perky!
Leaves were wilted a bit out of the box, but watering and partial shade have remedied that. Plant is large and I am sure I will get at least a few grapes next year because there were two that had fallen off the vine during shipping.
Growth
So far the muscadine are growing very well.
Got my money’s worth!
I had high hopes and I wasn’t disappointed. Huge, mature vines on the largest size they sell of the Carlos scuppernongs. This company has brilliantly filled a need that no one else was filling - the demand for large, mature plants by people who have the money to buy more mature plants. Folks are tired of dealing with half-dead box store “two year old” plant lies. Thank you, Fast Growing Trees.
Got two
I received two good sized, dormant vines. Time will tell how good they are. I thought I had ordered one and another variety but, twice as good?
Plant arrived in bad shape
The delivery was on time. Upon opening the box, I noticed that the leaves were pale and some felt like paper and brittle. The plant soil in the pot was dry. Due to forecasted cold weather, I decided to keep the plant indoors and to water it hoping that the warmer conditions would help. Took the plant out next day to expose it to direct sunlight where it has been all the while. All the leave have turned brown and are falling off the vine. I don't think this plant has survived the delivery . It is not looking good although I am giving it my best attention and care. I do want a replacement if and when it is final that it will not recover.
