Showy, Apricot-Orange, Trumpet-Shaped Blooms

Why Cape Honeysuckle Vines?

Fill your garden with the vibrant orange blooms of the Cape Honeysuckle. Plant as a shrub or train as a vine and watch it elegantly scale up porches, fences, or outdoor walls.

In spring, the Cape Honeysuckle blooms radiant clusters of trumpet-shaped, yellow, apricot, red, or orange flowers that light up any garden. And its green, fern-like foliage contains 5 to 9 leaflets.

This beautiful evergreen shrub with sprawling, vine-like stems grows best in warm, tropical climates and can reach anywhere from 13 to 25 inches tall for an attention-grabbing statement in any yard.

The Cape Honeysuckle produces long, thin elongated fruit capsules that contain numerous seeds easily dispersed by the wind. This plant has a sweet, aromatic scent, and the nectar of the flowers attracts hummingbirds and butterflies for enjoyable springtime wildlife viewing.

Incredibly low-maintenance, the Cape Honeysuckle is easy-to-grow, self-cleaning, and has no serious disease or insect problems. Plant as a show-stopping centerpiece in your garden containers or congregate them together in mass plantings or hedges. This fiery honeysuckle can even be planted to climb a trellis to add even more texture and color to your landscape.

    Beautiful

When I received this cape honeysuckle I was so happy to see how good it looked!! We planted it and it's October now and it has blooms on it!! Doing really well.. I was a little disappointed to find out its not a true honeysuckle as I wanted my whole side fence to have different honeysuckle growing along it but it's doing so well I can't bear to part with it so it stays!
