Beautiful flowers, happy customer
FGT always does a great job with packaging, but one of the two I purchased did look thirsty upon arrival. I planted them immediately and they perked up that evening. I'm not an experienced gardener, so I kept a close eye on them daily. On hot days with great sunshine, the leaves would completely droop, so I thought they needed water. This was happening every day, so I used the website chat feature and was advised that they should be fine in full (GA) sun and I should stop watering daily as they are drought resistant. So I stopped, and they are still alive! They have gotten much taller and after only a few weeks, I have flowers blooming too. Just expect that it will droop and appear to wilt in the sunshine, but they are not telling you that they necessarily need more water. They always perk back up in the evening too. Beautiful, I love them!
I have blooms!
I'm not an experienced gardener, but I'm really trying to learn and enjoy new plants. I purchased 2 of these daisy plants and one of them was struggling when it arrived, but overall both were in good shape. I planted them right away and have kept a close eye on them daily. I noticed that in full Georgia sunshine on hot sunny days that the leaves would droop badly! I wasn't expecting that and it made me concerned they needed water, so I kept watering them every day. Then they were overwatered, of course, so I backed off. Now they seem to be thriving and I have beautiful blooms!!! So a tip from me, expect them to look wilted in the sunshine even after they have acclimated, and know the leaves will bounce back up in the evening.
