Great tree arrived healthy as expected
Nice Persian Lime Tree
Arrived June 14, 2022 (in New Braunfels, TX): Tree looks very healthy, is shaped very well and about 2.5’ tall from the dirt level. It was received from FedEx in a protective box sitting upright per the warnings on the box. Nice! I planted it outside in a half barrel beside a Key Lime tree I planted a month ago. Both are in full sun most of the day. Most trees I plant have a root ball where all of the dirt remains intact when I plant it. In this case the Persian lime tree's root ball was not mature enough to hold the root ball dirt together. So even after cutting the plastic container in four vertical sections I had to slide my hands down opposite sides and extract the tree, well balanced roots and as much dirt as I could grasp (about 1/2 of the pot’s dirt), place it in the hole and then add in the rest of the dirt from the container. After adjusting it in the hole with the extra pot soil, I added additional soil and pressed it down per the instructions, and attached the tree stem to three bamboo stakes. I am comfortable that it will remain in place. After one week it appears to be healthy and vigorous. So, maybe the lack of a mature root/dirt ball is not necessary. Looking forward to limes next year.

Just as the name on the storefront implies, the 3' tree we got arrived in great shape, and has grown many more leaves! It was hard to find a traditional (non-key) lime tree locally which led me to purchasing online. It was my first online tree purchase and I couldn't be happier! Their trees are healthy and fast growing! Will definitely purchase from again in the future.
