So far so good
It's early yet, but the tree is beginning to bud. I would suggest at least including minimal instructions. I had to go back to the website, find my plant, and then cut and paste the instructions for myself.
Chicago Hardy Fig
We were excited to get our order, but there was only one fig in the box and we had ordered two! But, Camelle was very helpful and she made sure we received the second Chicago Hardy Fig in a timely manner. The trees are small, but we are hoping they will be strong and thrive here in Pennsylvania! Thank you! Althea

So far it’s got some good growth. I repotted and taking it up to my yard in NC
I’m No Arborist. . .
…I complained that my Chicago Hardy Fig Tree was dead after receiving it. I planted it in the pot I’d already prepared for it and put in the “Root Rocket” nutritional package, convinced I was wasting time, dirt and a pack of Root Rocket. Imagine my surprise a few days ago when my wife said: “your dead plant apparently doesn’t know it’s dead. ” She was correct (as usual)! It’s a long way from being a tree, but it’s definitely not dead. Apparently I need to learn the difference between “dead” and “dormant. ” Earlier today, I was chatting with one of the reps about the second half of my order which apparently went missing during the unexpectedly vicious winter storms we had in January. I asked if there was a quick check I could do next time to see if my tree was alive or dead. That’s when I was introduced to the “scratch test” which I’m betting everyone EXCEPT me already knew. Scratch the bark and if there’s green beneath it, the tree’s alive and dormant, not dead as a doormat. Glad they’re good with helping amateurs with their orders. Thanks everyone at Fast Growing Trees!
