Solid tree!
Peach has taken very well since I’ve planted, decent amount of new growth. Didn’t expect any fruit this year and so I’m not disappointed that I didn’t get any.
Elberta Peach Tree
Needs more chill time than zone 9 provides
This tree has the sweetest fruit. I got three peaches within the first couple months of receiving it. I grow it in a container on my patio (FL zone 9). This season it has had a hard time coming out of dormancy and I didn’t get any fruit. Reading more about this species, they require more chill time during the winter than my zone could provide. I am giving it another year and then I may have to give up on it. But overall, very nice tree, well packaged and quick delivery!
