Drought-Tolerant Privacy Kit

Received the tree back in April in great condition. Now it’s late June and the tree continues to thrive. Can’t wait for it to bloom. Would definitely recommend!!

I ordered 6 of these in early spring. I had lost thousands of dollars in new plants with the tough weather conditions in Austin. The soil here is mostly clay so plants cannot drain. And the top soil might look parched but the roots are still wet without drainage. I redid my entire property with raised beds. I also put pvp pipes into the bottom of each plant area so I could stick a bamboo pole down the pipe to tell how wet or dry the roots were. The drought tolerant plants seemed to be a perfect addition to all the other new plants I selected. They arrived healthy but a little delicate. The site said they would be fast growers. All six are amazing now. A couple have doubled in girth already. My entire property is now filled with thriving plants. The most impressive so far are those drought tolerant. Thanks to fast growing trees.

I planted 7 of these in my front yard 10-15 years ago. I call them my "Sacred Seven". I got the smallest size and within 2 years to now they are glorious! They are healthy and over 30 feet now. In my zone 8, they have 4 seasons! Blossoms in the spring, green in the summer, orange/gold leaves in the fall, and naked in the winter. I adore these trees. One year we our neighborhood got aphids! Simple dish soap spraying, leaving overnight and rinsing them the next day - never a problem again! Fertilizing them with the Farmer's Almanac flower stakes help the blooms, I'm just now learning how to nurture my mature and lovely trees. Thank you Fast Growing Trees! Fan forever!

I received my tree today (5/16/24) and I’m very happy with it. I ordered a Muskogee Crape Myrtle tree in the 4-5 ft range and I received one a little over 5 ft (it was slightly taller than me :0). It only had two broken branches, but most of the leaves have brown spots on them. A quick Google search told me the brown spots could be due to lack of water. The root ball was very dry and I’m crossing my fingers the leaves will improve with consistent watering. Once I got the tree in the ground and gave it water, it perked up a little. I’m looking forward to this tree providing much needed privacy, but most importantly, a beautiful view from my deck. Thank you, FGT, for my beautiful tree! 🌳 ♥️
