Started growing figs in 2 months
When I ordered this tree it was 6 inches tall and two months later it has 7 fig buds and is about 17 inches tall. I live in zone 6.
Healthy Specimen
Very happy with this purchase. Small but healthy and out of dormancy. I know fig trees and this will definitely take off once i plant in ground. Also, this came as a truly established tree in the pot. Have had trouble with lesser companies putting a bare root tree in a pot of dirt right before shipping. Will buy from this company again.
Fig
Very happy. The small tree just survived a near miss from a tornado.
Strong trees, fruit already set
Bought the 3-gallon pots, since they were buy-one-get one at the time. I wasn't expecting such big saplings! It's also nice to see that the central trunk has been trimmed ahead of time to encourage a bushier habit, which will yield more fuit long-term. There's also slow-release fertilizer in the containers, so the trees will be set up for a good start when planted. I wasn't counting on getting any fruit this year, but each tree has a small handful of figs already set to ripen over the summer. I can't wait to get them into the ground. Very satisfied with them so far.
Looks very healthy. Some branches
Looks very healthy. Some branches broke off during shipping and it looks smaller than I thought it would be but I am pleased with it. Root base looked very good. There were even a couple of small figs that were in the box that had fallen off the tree.
