What is Fast Growing Trees' Alive & Thrive Guarantee™?
Our Alive & Thrive Guarantee promises that your plants will arrive happy and healthy, covering your plants for the timeframe specified at the time of purchase. If your plant dies of natural causes at any point during the coverage period, we’ll provide a one-time replacement (shipping costs not included).
What does the Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ cover?
We guarantee your plants will arrive alive, healthy and ready to thrive in your yard! Our Alive & Thrive Guarantee provides a one-time replacement (shipping costs not included) in the event of:
- Plant quality issues
- Fungus or disease within 4 weeks of arrival
- Plant dying within the coverage period
- Incorrect plant delivered
- Insects or insect damage within 4 weeks of arrival
Each live plant product in the customer's order is eligible for a one-time replacement.
The Alive & Thrive Guarantee does not cover plants purchased outside their recommended growing zones or plant damage caused by:
- Neglectful care
- Improper planting
- Extreme weather
- Damage caused by animals or humans
- Other external factors
How long is the Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ valid?

How do I make a Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ claim?
To submit a claim, please use our Contact Us form. Our team will review your concerns, and if necessary, we’ll provide a one-time replacement (shipping costs not included). Please note that photos are required for each plant submitted under the guarantee. Detailed information about the required photos can be found on the Contact Us form.
Are there any items that aren’t covered?
Our Alive & Thrive Guarantee does not cover the following categories:
- Garden supplies
- Grass seed
- Annuals
- Gardenuity® products
- Tabletop/desktop plants
- Holiday plants
Can I receive a refund instead of an item replacement?
If a replacement plant is not available due to inventory availability, we may provide a one-time discount or credit for the equivalent amount.
Is replacement shipping free?
No. Replacement plant shipping costs and taxes are at the customer’s expense.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your plant arrives damaged, contact us immediately to determine if a replacement plant is needed. Please note that photos are required for each plant submitted under the guarantee. Detailed information about the required photos can be found on the Contact Us form.
