Watering Solution Prevents Transplant Shock

When you're making an investment and effort in planting new trees in your landscape, you can assure their survival and growth by using the Slow Release Watering Bag—a truly simple and innovative drip irrigation system in a bag.

This watering solution instantly helps your new tree through the shock and stress that comes from transplanting it, releasing the proper amount of water directly to the root structure where it’s needed most.

Our 15-gallon bag is great for newly planted or established trees 1-8 inches in diameter. Water has a 5-9 hour release time.

With hot summers and droughts the norm around the country, the Slow Release Watering Bag is an absolute necessity to protect your new trees and shrubs. You won’t have to worry about whether you’ve given your tree enough water, and you can go on vacation and relax knowing that this nifty drip system is taking all the anxiety out of caring for your landscaping.

This watering solution is super easy to install without any tools, and it can easily be filled up with a standard garden hose or can even be connected to a rain barrel! It's a super time saver that takes the worry out of continually remembering whether you've watered your new tree or not. Plus, all the water that goes into the drip bag is used up with no waste, so the Slow Release Watering Bag is environmentally friendly with regard to water use.

Don't wait—get yours with your new purchase today!

Instructions:

Your Slow Release Watering Bag will discharge water from the two elbow-shaped PVC emitters. If your bag/ring is emptying faster than expected, ensure it’s completely full of water, and confirm that the emitter nozzles are inserted correctly and/or are not missing. Ensuring your bag/ring is placed on a flat surface can also help regulate watering—it will drain faster when placed on a slope.

    Better filler gizmo

The watered could use a better way to hold the hose in while filling. But works great, and easy!

Water doesn't last as long as expected

The tree gator arrived on time with a softball size hole in the side of the box but with no visible damage to the gator. I've been filling it up before I go to bed at night, but when I get up the next morning, all of the water has run out. I was expecting a full gator to last longer than 8 hours. I've inspected the gator but don't see any issues.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHello Robert, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with the tree gator. The Tree Gator has a 5 to 9 hour release time on average. Let us know if you need any additional assistance.

    Watering bag

I bought five of these and they do what they're supposed to. The water drips out slowly overnight with no issues.

    Love the idea!

I love the idea, but the water goes through the bag in a day. It was advertised to seep out in three days. I thought it was going to be a slow release.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertMost of the watering bags have an average of 5-8 hours until they drain. We apologize for the confusion1
