Spanish Almonds for Homegrown, Heart-Healthy Snacking
Heart-healthy, versatile, and delicious—the almond is a favorite tree nut for good reason. And with the Penta Almond Tree, you can start growing your own yummy snack at home!
Unlike other almond trees, the Penta can be grown in a wider range of climates because it blooms a little after the late spring frosts—if you can grow apples and peaches, you can grow the Penta Almond! And despite its late blooming season, you'll still enjoy a big summer harvest from a mature tree.
Bred for the European almond industry—it's a big deal, we promise—the Penta's almonds are higher in heart-healthy monosaturated fats. For the health-conscious home growers, the Penta is perfect for low-carb snacking and homemade almond-centric recipes (almond butter, anyone?).
Plus, the Penta almond is more disease resistant than other types of almonds. Its shell is thicker and therefore less likely to let insects get inside to lay eggs. This also means your container-friendly Penta Almond Tree won't require the use of pesticides, if you prefer!

Almond tree worth its price
Just a beautiful tree. Lush and very healthy looking. Planted as soon as I got it.
Looking Good So Far
Looked great at delivery, put her in the ground and still looking good!
Not much to say at
Not much to say at this point. It is planted. It does not appear to be dying. Other than that, assuming it keeps growing, I really will not have a lot of comments for the next 7-10 years when I should start getting almonds. I do think it would be wise for all home owners to start vegetable gardens, to plant fruit and nut trees, and to plant bushes with edible fruit and berries. The company "Fast Growing Trees" has been a responsible vendor, replacing trees that failed. (I am still learning so making some mistakes.) I cannot yet totally recommend this tree (I did mark recommend but he choices given are binary (yes or no only, there is no I do not know yet) but I can definitely recommend the business.
So happy with my Almond tree
I bought my tree couple months ago, I received the healthiest tree in the best package. After 2 wks it started to grow, beautiful almond blossoms showed up later and now it has a lot of fruit, I just wanted to take time and thank fast growing trees for the best service and their best trees
Penta Almond Tree
My almond tree looks well. Even though it is okay in cold weather. I potted it when it came I think around Thanksgiving. I'm keeping it in my kitchen near the sliding glass door so it get lots of light. It lost all it's leaves but every branch is now putting out new leaves. Can't wait to see what it looks like by summer. May put it out on the deck for the summer months.
