Honeycrisp™ Apple Tree Care
View Full Planting & Care InstructionsSunlight
Honeycrisps need at least six hours of sunlight daily to thrive.
Watering
Only provide enough water to keep the soil slightly moistened when your tree is in dormancy. As soon as you see newer growth emerging from the tree, you can water whenever the top 2 inches of the soil feels dry.
Fertilizing
Feed your tree with 5-10-10 fertilizer per label instructions but only start after they begin growing steadily. We recommend spreading your fertilizer a few inches away from the tree's trunk.

FedEx is poor for deliveries
The love and care that Fast Growing Trees gives is products is obvious. I love this company and ordered at least six different fruit trees this spring from them. The lack of care that FedEx places in their deliveries of these live trees has also been obvious.
Best, fast customer service!
I took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free & gave 1 to my daughter. One of them came looking pretty beat up…6-8 inches of the top had broken off & very few leaves. I started a live chat to ask if that would affect the trees growth. She asked for pictures so I took 1 of the tree, 1 of the top still in the box & 1 of the 4 hastily stacked boxes FedEx did not stack “this side up”. Her reply was…your new tree will be on the way soon! It arrived with all branches intact. Once again though, FedEx didn’t lay the box flat but put the tree over a waist high fence tilted with the pot side up!! Absolutely no common sense…the box says trees on it so you’d think a person would know that the heavy side contains dirt!! All the dirt slid out, the root ball was exposed & I couldn’t get it into the ground until the next day. I planted it & I think it’ll be fine. I’m very impressed with fastgrowingtrees & their customer service!!
